Makia is now in it’s 15th year and the collection looks stronger with every release. We wanted to find more about the brand, it’s history and future, so took it upon ourselves to interview legendary snowboarder and Makia brand manager Joni Malmi to discover more.

The Chill Foundation

With less and less young people taking up snowboarding any program getting the youth into snowboarding can only be a good thing. The non profit Chill Foundation created by Jake and Donna Carpenter seen 20,000 youth take their first turns on a snowboard in North America alone and has now expanded into Europe and Japan. We caught up with Chill’s Executive Director; Alex Bornstein to discover more.
